With the reduction of stress in the joints, you may feel relief from aches and pains. Join us for a Sunday morning Kundalini Yoga & Meditation experience of connecting into the tempo of your internal rhythm and merging with the rhythm of the Earth & Universe. Join us for this Sunday evening yin class as it is an offering that allows us to close out the week, and prepare ourselves for a beautiful new week ahead!
Yin yoga targets the connective tissues by emphasizing on creating internal heat, lengthening and contracting our muscles. This practice primarily targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Stimulating the connective tissue and joints provides not only physical relief, but also an energetic release that improves the flow of Chi or Prana throughout the body, resulting in a liberating feeling. Most of the postures take place seated or lying on the mat and are held from anywhere from 1 to 20 minutes. The use of props is highly encouraged to allow the body to avoid injury and to sink deeply into the pose while maintaining a peaceful, meditative mind. Yin yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular styles (yang) of yoga and exercise.
Our daily lives embody both yin and yang, just as our yoga practice can include aspects of both yin and yang. Most our day we engage our yang energy that is filled with sun, activity, and rapid pace. Yin is our moon. It is yielding, allowing, and nourishing. Even with an active lifestyle, we can adapt our yin awareness and acceptance. We can learn to tap into our yin in order to live a more balanced life. Yin contains yang and in turn, yang becomes yin. Develop your awareness of yin to restore balance to your daily life. Merge the duality of life and learn to find steadiness in all situations you encounter through the practice of yin.
Suitable for all levels of students. This class will include the harmonic sounds of the singing bowls, gongs, and other healing instruments to amplify your meditative experience.

In this class, we will go over the philosophy and energetics of the masculine and feminine. We will discuss their interplay and what women truly need from men in this time. We will dive into understanding the nature of being a man, and what it takes to walk the path as a man.
Through powerful kriyas and breathwork we will be pushed past our breaking point to uncover our depth and potential as men. The gongs will assist in clearing out the doubt and confusion that has been keeping us from fully embodying our divine nature. With these realizations we will be better equipped and empowered to show up and do our part as we all go through this great transition.
